About the designer

Hello!

I am a Crochet Designer who specialises in creating crocheted toy patterns.

If you are also a crocheter and love to make toys then please do check out my patterns. Each one is a design that I’ve doodled and then brought to life with yarn and hook. They have been loved by many crocheters but I truly would love to reach all corners of the world and reach out to many crocheters as I possibly can who love to make plushies as much as I do!

I am a self taught, left handed crocheter (but don’t worry my patterns are written for both left and right handers) who began this journey 13 years ago.

One day I seen a magazine in a shop with a crocheted toy and decided I wanted to make it with absolutely no knowledge about crochet in the slightest! I sat for days teaching myself how to crochet. I loved it so much. Even if my first toys didn’t look like an elephant or panda. I’m not even sure what they did look like in all fairness. But there began my passion for crochet.

Id constantly make toys. I had no patience for blankets or garments. Just toys. And after so many years of looking up to some amazing designers I decided to try my hand at designing. For many years i'd learn as much as I could about crochet and didn’t let me being left handed stop me from doing something i so badly wanted to try.

Circa 2016 i tried….and well….it didn’t work out. But i didn’t give up crocheting. I’d still make toys pretty much everyday.

Fast forward to August 2023, I decided to take the plunge again. Found myself some wonderful crocheters from a facebook group and they became my muskehookers! First pattern i released was Luna the Otter. Little did i know the Otter would start my journey in such a positive and thrilling way. Then came my cows. Astrid and Celeste. They put me on the map. They started off my new path of being the designer of Sweet Fluffy Stitches.

And here i am today with over 35 patterns. I will never stop designing and creating crochet toys. It has become my passion and i am one determined cookie to keep going and hope whoever stumbles across my patterns loves them as much as i do.
